Jogging Strollers - Which One Is Right For You?

Jogging strollers are special-purpose strollers that are great for jogging or speed walking, but typically aren't practical for everyday use. They are a very popular type of stroller for moms who want to get in some exercise activity into their lives or the serious runner.

Jogging strollers are designed with extra large wheels. With the 3 wheel design, you get stability and a smooth ride; however the non-swivel front wheel can make indoor maneuverability difficult.

Jogging strollers are available in either single, double or triple models. They are quick and easy to fold up for storage and each model is designed for one-handed folding or collapsing so you'll always be in control.

Double jogging strollers allow parents with multiples to get the exercise they need and desire. Double strollers and those with special equipment are priced higher. Double strollers come in two varieties: side-by-side or tandem. As the name suggests, side-by-side strollers seat two children (often times, twins) next to one another.

Infant jogging strollers have been the subject of prior art and have developed into highly engineered and popular items, especially among young parents. Active moms and dads who hope to take their baby on jogs or hikes in rough terrain will want to spring for a rugged jogging stroller.

Jogging strollers are not best for everyone, make sure before you buy one that you have all the information and consumer reports that you will need in order to make an informed decision.
